About us
Our Story
Some stories begin in boardrooms. Ours began at a food meetup, 15 years ago. Two strangers — Abhishek and Rohan — bonded over plates of chaat, laughter about hidden eateries, and the kind of conversations that last longer than the food on the table. That first meeting didn’t just spark a friendship; it planted the seed for what would one day become Namastey Culture.
Over the years, we realised our bond wasn’t just about eating — it was about discovering. About finding the stories tucked inside a 100-year-old mithai shop, the pride behind a family recipe, or the soul of a festival street. Food was our excuse, but culture became our calling.
In 2024, we turned this passion into something bigger. Namastey Culture was born — a space to celebrate food, travel, and culture, not as separate chapters but as one living story. Armed with curiosity, a camera, and an appetite that refuses to quit, we set out to document India the way we experience it — real, raw, and full of heart.
Today, Namastey Culture has grown into a tribe. A community of food lovers, explorers, and storytellers who know that the best discoveries aren’t always on a map — sometimes they’re in the laughter at a food walk, the warmth of a shared table, or the nostalgia of a single bite.
This isn’t just our journey. It’s yours too. And it all started with one plate of food.
We started with curiosity, we continue with passion, and we grow with community.

Singh Sahib, M3M Avenue, Gurugram
Some meals stay with you—not just for flavour, but for how they make you feel.
Our recent meal at Singh Sahib felt exactly like that.
Inspired by the power of the Maharajas and the finesse of the Nawabs, this is North Indian food that balances richness with restraint. The flavours are bold yet refined, indulgent yet thoughtful—each dish carrying echoes of royal kitchens, without feeling dated or heavy.
What stands out is the experience. The ambience leans regal without being overdone, the plating feels intentional, and the food speaks for itself—comforting, familiar, but elevated. Singh Sahib doesn’t shout royalty; it wears it with quiet confidence.
This is the kind of place where you slow down, savour every bite, and let heritage do the talking.
A meal that feels rooted, indulgent, and distinctly celebratory.

Some evenings are planned.
Others are discovered.
The Discovery Table came together as a shared exploration between Soorahi and Anardana — a seven-course tasting experience where food, whisky, and storytelling moved in quiet harmony.
At the heart of the evening was Soorahi Whisky — bold yet balanced — guiding every pairing, every pause, every conversation at the table. From whisky-led cocktails to classic pours, each sip was designed to complement the rhythm of the meal, not overpower it.
Anardana translated that spirit onto the plate.
A thoughtfully curated seven-course menu that played with texture, warmth, spice, and restraint — allowing each dish to unfold naturally, course by course.
A special shout-out to Chef Aditya Kumar Jha for embracing the challenge of pairing food with whisky so seamlessly, and to Ankur Chawla, Brand Evangelist at Soorahi, whose vision anchored the evening in craft, patience, and purpose.
This wasn’t about excess.
It was about intention.
About flavours meeting at the right pace.
About a table worth slowing down for.
The Discovery Table — where whisky led, food followed, and stories gathered.

THE DISCOVERY TABLE — A JOURNEY BEFORE THE DINNER
Before we planned the menu, we planned the journey.
The Discovery Table wasn’t created in a meeting room—
it was built while walking through Delhi’s lanes looking for winter colours, textures and the perfect little details for the soirée.
We found ourselves picking spices in hidden corners, choosing décor elements from places that still smell like old Delhi winters, and discussing flavours over conversations that went much deeper than “what should we serve?”.
Huge shout-out to Chef Aditya Kumar Jha for taking on this creative challenge and crafting a tasting experience that pairs beautifully with Soorahi’s personality—layered, bold, and full of character.
From the menu to the moodboard, and from winter flavours to the cocktail pairings—every detail comes from a place of discovery.
And tomorrow, it finally comes together for an invite-only tasting evening at Anardana Golf Course.
See you at The Discovery Table.

Madhvan x Julundhar Gymkhana: A Collective That Celebrated Punjab’s Spirit
Punjab celebrates whisky with heart — through flavour, music, warmth, and moments that stay with you long after they’ve passed. And at the Jalandhar Gymkhana Members Collective, that spirit found its perfect match in Madhvan.
Even before the evening began, Jalandhar had already left its imprint on us. Breakfast tucked inside its narrow lanes set the tone. A rustic mutton meal added depth, richness, and that unmistakable Punjab soul. By the time we reached the iconic fish fry and crisp dal pakoras, the city’s flavours were already lingering — familiar, comforting, unforgettable.
And then, the Gymkhana came alive.
Live singers filled the space with energy, glasses of Madhvan were raised, and somewhere between a high note and a hearty laugh, the memory of those street-side flavours met the smooth, bold character of Madhvan in every sip.
It was a moment where food, music, and whisky didn’t just coexist — they truly blended.
Because in Punjab, a pour without a story…
is just liquid in a glass.
This was more than an event.
It was a celebration of whisky, culture, togetherness, and the undeniable Jalandhar spirit — all brought together under one unforgettable collective experience with Madhvan.

Aarkay Dhaba, Jalandhar — Punjab Served From the Heart
Some places don’t just feed you… they embrace you.
Aarkay Dhaba is one of those rare gems where food tastes like home and hospitality feels like family.
We loved every bit of it — the Bharwan Karela stuffed and cooked with pure care, the slow-cooked Dal finished with their house-made desi ghee, and the soul-soothing Sarson ka Saag that tasted like pure Punjab on a plate. Add their makki di roti, white makhan, and ghar wale pickles, and you feel the warmth of a Punjabi kitchen travelling straight to your table.
This is honest, home-style cooking — no shortcuts, no show-off… just flavours rooted in tradition, love, and old family values.
We truly felt the flavours of Punjab, and every bite took us a little closer to the soil, the people, and the stories behind this legendary dhaba.

What Drives Us
At Namastey Culture, we don’t just chase flavors — we chase the stories behind them. Our mission is to explore, document, and celebrate the richness of cultures across the world, from timeless traditions to bold new expressions.
For us, food is culture, travel is discovery, and storytelling is the bridge that ties it all together. From a halwai in Old Delhi guarding a century-old recipe to a new-age chef in Paris reinventing classics, from a village ritual in India to a vibrant city festival abroad — every voice, every plate, every moment matters.
We carry with us the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the belief that the world is one family. In every story, every shared table, and every cultural exchange, we see not differences, but connections.
We bring these stories alive with authenticity and heart, blending truth with creativity, and warmth with whimsy. Because culture isn’t just what we consume — it’s what connects us, defines us, and carries us forward.
