About us

Our Story

Some stories begin in boardrooms. Ours began at a food meetup, 15 years ago. Two strangers — Abhishek and Rohan — bonded over plates of chaat, laughter about hidden eateries, and the kind of conversations that last longer than the food on the table. That first meeting didn’t just spark a friendship; it planted the seed for what would one day become Namastey Culture.

Over the years, we realised our bond wasn’t just about eating — it was about discovering. About finding the stories tucked inside a 100-year-old mithai shop, the pride behind a family recipe, or the soul of a festival street. Food was our excuse, but culture became our calling.

In 2024, we turned this passion into something bigger. Namastey Culture was born — a space to celebrate food, travel, and culture, not as separate chapters but as one living story. Armed with curiosity, a camera, and an appetite that refuses to quit, we set out to document India the way we experience it — real, raw, and full of heart.

Today, Namastey Culture has grown into a tribe. A community of food lovers, explorers, and storytellers who know that the best discoveries aren’t always on a map — sometimes they’re in the laughter at a food walk, the warmth of a shared table, or the nostalgia of a single bite.

This isn’t just our journey. It’s yours too. And it all started with one plate of food.

We started with curiosity, we continue with passion, and we grow with community.

What Drives Us

At Namastey Culture, we don’t just chase flavors — we chase the stories behind them. Our mission is to explore, document, and celebrate the richness of cultures across the world, from timeless traditions to bold new expressions.

For us, food is culture, travel is discovery, and storytelling is the bridge that ties it all together. From a halwai in Old Delhi guarding a century-old recipe to a new-age chef in Paris reinventing classics, from a village ritual in India to a vibrant city festival abroad — every voice, every plate, every moment matters.

We carry with us the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the belief that the world is one family. In every story, every shared table, and every cultural exchange, we see not differences, but connections.

We bring these stories alive with authenticity and heart, blending truth with creativity, and warmth with whimsy. Because culture isn’t just what we consume — it’s what connects us, defines us, and carries us forward.
